What are Water Efficiency Calculations?
Water Efficiency Calculations demonstrate that your domestic property is compliant with Part G of the Building Regulations. Each newly created dwelling must achieve a water consumption of no more than 125 litres per person per day. Some local authorities have an even lower target, such as 110 litres per person per day.
Water Efficiency Calculations are required at design stage to ensure that the planned installations are compliant. When the build is complete the calculations demonstrate the actual water usage.
